1. Who we are

SquadPax ("SquadPax", "we", "us") is a fitness and nutrition app that lets you form small accountability squads with people you already know, log food and workouts, track body measurements, and get AI coaching.

These Terms govern your use of the app. By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: support@squadpax.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use SquadPax. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission.

SquadPax is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Choose a handle that does not impersonate someone else.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is permanent.

4. Acceptable use & community safety

Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other members; do not post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content; do not upload photos of anyone without their consent.

You can block and report other members from Profile → Safety. We review reports and may remove content or suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

5. Not medical advice

SquadPax provides general fitness and nutrition information, including AI-generated suggestions and estimates such as BMI, calorie, and macro targets. This is for education only and is NOT medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified physician or registered dietitian before starting any diet, training, or weight program, especially if you are pregnant, have an eating disorder history, or have a medical condition.

6. AI features

The AI coach and the “scan meal” photo feature send the text and images you provide to our AI processor (Anthropic) to generate a response. Do not submit anything you would not want processed for that purpose.

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Use judgement; the safety rules above always apply.

7. Content & data sources

Food data is sourced from public databases including the USDA FoodData Central (public domain) and Open Food Facts (Open Database License). The exercise library is from the public-domain free-exercise-db. Nutrition values are estimates and may be inaccurate.

You retain ownership of content you create (handles, logs, photos); you grant us a limited licence to host and display it to you and your squad to operate the service.

8. Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play. Prices, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the store you purchased through. Core logging is available without payment.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for injuries arising from your training or diet choices.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including your statutory consumer rights).

10. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
